POEM 103: CANDLE
If you are a dreamer, come close.
If you are a wisher, come close.
Sad, lonely?
Hurt, angry?
This is why I burn:
to light up your heart with my dancing flames,
to knock shadows of sadness of your darkness,
to light your world with my melting wax,
come…come closer
my light may not be brighter
but the close, the better.
