‘Life is all about the choices we make,’ someone rightly said. Every choice we make, no matter how major or little, affects our lives in some manner and determines how our future years will develop. It’s simple: the better choices you make now, the higher your chances of living a happy life will be. Here is a poem I wrote about choices.

a wise man once told me:
“life is all about choices”, but

i don’t recall choosing

the struggles i grapple
the traumas i wrestle
the demons i lock horns
the fears i cross swords

this rough path
is decorated with blurred lines

i don’t remember ever
being given the option
to choose
