POEM 243: DON’T STAY DOWN
The lowest of lows
are just dwarf mountains.
Do you know?

If you find you there, rejoice!
That’s a low mountain beneath your feet.

But. Don’t. Remain. There.
There’s an Everest to mount.

Until you gain such a height
from which you, in grandeur, shall gaze around,
don’t stay down.
