Hope’s Flickering Flame

As the days stretch out and the sun warms your skin, I invite you to embrace hope's flickering flame.

Welcome to March, a month that whispers of new beginnings and promises. As the days stretch out and the sun warms your skin, I invite you to embrace hope’s flickering flame.

February was all about passion and purpose, and I’m certain you found purpose in that which gives you joy and satisfaction. Did you?

As we bid adieu to February’s chill, let’s cozy up to the fire of creativity burning within us.

I need you to see March as sunrise. Imagine the month as it unfurls its vibrant hues, painting promises of renewal and growth. Your journey to purpose continues, but this time, not with passion only, but with hope.

Here’s a micro poem I wrote today, three years ago (it inspired today’s musing);

Hope’s Flickering Flame

“…embrace
this mesmerising
flicker of hope
like a candlestick
hold on to its flicker
‘gainst a tornado of naysayers”

The poem uses the image of a flickering candle flame to represent hope. Even in the midst of a “tornado of naysayers,” the flame persists, glowing brighter and brighter. It’s a powerful reminder that even the smallest light can persevere in the face of darkness.

So, this month, I encourage you to find your own light, no matter how big or small. Let it guide you through the month and remind you of the strength and resilience you hold within.

Learn to savor the essence of hope, like a flickering candle in the tempest of doubt. Hold tight to its gentle glow, illuminating the path amidst the cacophony of naysayers, self doubts, rejections, financial hardships, ill health, or whatever challenges that may come your way. For in the dance of light and shadow, you shall find the rhythm of your resilience.

Cheers to the adventures awaiting you in March!

Until next time, stay sane, and aflame. Happy new month!
