POEM 304: IF LOVE WERE A TALE BY SUNLIGHT

It starts from point WOW – sunrise on the horizon,
spectrum of yellow and red kisses rooftops,

you impress me with your impression
I get beside of myself beside you
falling head over heels for your aura

and you rise, like the Son of salvation,
crawling to the centre of the sky,
with steps akin to moonwalk.

warm, your kisses on my skin,
refreshing, I glow and tan in the fire of your voice

I want more sunbathing, until noontime,
and the affectionate caress of your warmth,
burns my skin, with the fury of a thousand fires.

I go from loving you to not loving you,
from wanting to not wanting you

my heart moves from the cold into the fire.
The WOW effect fades

I loved you only because it’s you
the goal was not to melt into you,
but to be aglow with you.

Maybe your morning light will come again
Maybe, when things go tough,
you’ll consume my heart with cruel rays

If love were a tale by sunlight,
it would be a beautiful morning, that
lasts until eventide.

If love were a tale by sunlight,
it would be a day in the Sahara,
under the mercy of a cloud-stripped sky,

and, in this part of the story,
I am the one who dies, the only one.

love should be a tale by moonlight,
of fireflies glowing in the dark,
of kids dancing unclad,
of serenity,
of intimacy,
of tranquility.

This is not a poem.
