happy time for friends and family,
for this, at most, is what we think it is.
children giggle as they unwrap gifts
and dance around the Christmas tree.

i hear the carols being sung
i see colourful lights twinkle on
it was today the savior was born
the one who was condemned later on

it’s christmas, a time of joy
a time to appreciate the ones we love.
also a time to glance up above
and thank the creator once more

for soon, this little baby boy
asleep in a manger, shall be hung
because of sins that won’t pass away:
for this reason was he born anyway

so, as the holidays approach,
and we chorus noels in church
let us remember the reason
for this festive season

we must always remember that God
did not send his only begotten son
for merriment of festive days
but that our sins are erased.

my wish is for everyone
who is feeling a little blue
may you find peace, lasting joy
and comfort with everything you do.

Merry Christmas!

Here’s a Christmas song from me to you.
