30, a collection of poems by Jaachi Anyatonwu banner

I know I’ve loved and weary of loss
I know my heart’s is an emotional mess
and I never had you, in it, included
still here am I with you,
the both of us craving reality
from a common fantasy.
Here I am with you,
the both of us longing for that which we’ve found in us,
from all that we see in the eyes of the other,
from all that we hear in the voice of the other,
from all what we feel in the actions of the other.
Why should we worry about a stop
when our hearts plays on and on
the music only two souls tango?
We’ve got us now, and yes, until tomorrow,
Aye! until eternity halts.
